Digital Retinal Photography using the TRC-NW6S retinal camera (www.topcon.com) allows us to capture an image of the back of your eye that we record and can compare against, each time you have an eye examination.
This allows us to detect and monitor many conditions specific to the eye as well as some general diseases which have an impact on the eye. The following conditions are among those which we can detect:
- Age Related Macular Degeneration (AMD)
- Vein Leakage
- Trauma related damage
- Diabetic Retinopathy
- Glaucoma
